The page is intentionally less like a profile and more like an object.

It uses pacing, type, cropping, and friction to make the work feel authored.

Direction

A portfolio that refuses the normal thumbnail grid.

Knel needed to be memorable for an editor whose work is about rhythm and taste. The site takes more compositional risks: oversized type, editorial spacing, and image treatments that feel curated instead of templated.

Pacing

Whitespace becomes part of the edit.

The design uses pauses and asymmetry the way an edit uses silence. The result is still usable, but it is allowed to feel more artistic than the business sites around it.
