Wacky Yugto

An editorial index rather than a thumbnail grid, for a working graphic designer whose own work is loud and colourful.

Platform
Frontend website

The brief was a working designer’s portfolio, not a resume with pictures on it.

So the site borrows from print instead: an index number on every screen, a name-card hero, and a filterable work grid that reads like a catalogue rather than a scroll of thumbnails.

Structure

Every screen is numbered, like pages in a spread.

Hero, about and the work index each carry their own section marker and a consistent header bar, so moving through the site feels like turning pages in one object rather than navigating between separate templates.

Restraint

The work is loud. The frame around it does not compete.

A saturated gradient room and a dark editorial about page give the poster-style work somewhere to sit without fighting it for attention — the layout stays plain type and clear grid so the designer’s own pieces stay the loudest thing on the page.
